Master Gardener Public Library Program

The Master Gardener Public Library Program is one of the many ways the Bernalillo County Master Gardener Program serves community residents. During the months of March through August Master Gardeners are available at eight of the city’s public libraries to assist residents in exploring a wide variety of horticultural concerns. The city libraries included in the Master Gardener Public Library Program are:

Cherry Hills – 6901 Barstow NE

Erna Fergusson – 3700 San Mateo NE

Juan Tabo – 3407 Juan Tabo Blvd NE

Lomas-Tramway – 900 Eastridge Dr NE

North Valley – 7704 2nd St NW

South Valley -- 3904 Isleta Blvd SW

Taylor Ranch – 5700 Bogart NW

Wyoming – 8205 Apache Ave NE

On the first, second and third Saturdays of the month, March through August, Master Gardeners are available during the hours of 10 am to 3 pm to visit with the public normally near the library entrance. No appointments are necessary. The Master Gardeners are able to discuss specific concerns, view plant specimens, share general horticultural information, and provide access to available resources. Think of the Master Gardener sign as a sign of help... stop by.
